Michael Leoni, Writer/Director/Founder of AN 11:11 EXPERIMENT, started directing at age fifteen. He committed himself to creating provocative material that could reach beyond the scope of traditional entertainment, challenge an audience’s beliefs, and motivate a movement for positive change in our society. Michael’s success as a writer/director began in Boston where he wrote and directed his first two projects, City of Dreams, and Omerta - The Code of Silence. Michael’s modern adaptations to classics like Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar attracted sold out houses and generated local press. Accepted at The Hartt Conservatory on a talent scholarship, he left at 19 and relocated to New York City in pursuit of a larger canvas to develop his artistic expression. Within the first six months, Michael wrote, directed, produced, and acted in Enigma, a coming of age story concentrating on tough issues involving teens. The unconventional style of Michael’s direction continued with Deviants and This is Our Youth, a play by Kenneth Lonnergan. His next success was LOUD, an original rock musical about family trauma and teenage bomb building. Michael directed LOUD in an off- Broadway run, receiving local acclaim at the NYC Fringe Festival. Audiences continued to respond positively to his imaginative, artistic style that combined theatre with an independent film feel.

In 2004 Michael made the move to Los Angeles to further his collaborative art form and make the transition into film. He formed An 11:11 Experiment and directed the four workshop runs of The Playground, a rock drama inspired by the true stories of teenage runaways and homeless children. His unique directing style caught the attention of major industry players who continue to support and shepherd his career path through Hollywood: Nigel Sinclair of Spitfire Pictures, Chris Simonian of CAA, Mike Garcia of HBO, and Gene Kirkwood of Interscope/Shady/Aftermath. Michael received rave reviews from LA Weekly, Backstage West, and Entertainment Weekly, which led him to write the screenplay for The Playground, a rock film which is currently in development. He has directed three shorts Radford Rd, Deliver Us & Someplace In Between, which was selected for the LA Shorts Festival, 2009. He has two other films and a television series in different stages of development and he is currently shooting Spare Some Change, a documentary on the lives of homeless youth.

Michael works closely with actors to explore the truth of human behavior and is called “a true actors director”. He currently teaches acting at Actor’s Creative Workshop in Burbank, California. COREY WISH

Originally from New York, Michelle started in the theatre at a very early age, so the transition from actor to producer was a natural one. She co-founded The Wynner’s Circle Theatre Company with Partner/Director Hallie Wynn and together they produced an average of two shows a year in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area. Always inspired by Independent Film, Michelle decided to make a career change and dove head first into the NYC indie scene. Within a year, she worked her way up through the AD department to work on such films as “Into My Heart” starring Rob Morrow and Claire Forlani and “Suits” starring Robert Klein and Larry Pine.

When Michelle transitioned to the West Coast in 2004 she co-founded the Greenwich Group and quickly found herself back in the theatre. The project that drew her heart back to the stage was The Playground, a Rock Musical about homeless kids and teenage runaways. Michelle and her Co-Producers mounted the stage show 5 times over a four year period and found great success each and every time. The show garnered major industry attention which has led to its current transition into a Feature Film.

The Greenwich group switched gears and became An 11:11 Experiment, a production company geared towards projects with a message of social change. Currently 11:11 has two projects in post-production and several projects in development. www.an1111experiment.comhttp://www.an1111experiment.comshapeimage_15_link_0
